Mint Enterprise Technology Summit 2017

ETS

Overview

Theme: Driving digital business with IoT, AI

Making your company ‘future-ready’ is an extremely challenging task in today’s digital world. All this means that the traditional approach of dedicating resources to specific applications is simply not adequate. Today’s increasingly mobile, data-driven business environment demands a different approach to information technology (IT) systems. Staying ahead of the competition requires decision making based on more accurate information, increased business efficiency and productivity, and greater flexibility to respond to customer demands in real time.

This implies using analytics, technology, and processes much more smartly to build tomorrow’s ‘intelligent enterprise’–today. Banks and financial institutions, on their part, are gearing up for a digital future with Artificial Intelligence-infused chat bots to act as quasi-bankers, software bots that can even do remittances and help with making loan choices, and blockchain technology to make banking more robust and secure. Manufacturing companies are using machine-learning approaches to predict required maintenance for large industrial machines. Thanks to GPUs and deep learning, physicians can predict the onset of diseases far earlier than is now possible, simply by analyzing patient electronic health records (EHRs).

This conference helped business leaders across sectors to understand how to effectively prepare for, and respond quickly to, disruption and change by focusing on the use of technology and information.
