CNBC-Mint Budget Event


Union Budget is the most essential part of any economy and a quantitative expression of the financial year. CNBC Mint Budget Verdict was an unparalleled event, where Indian media and makers of Union Budget got a chance to indulge with India Inc leaders to offer the most acute and comprehensive budget impact assessment on the economy. 

The post budget edition of this initiative was held immediately after the Union Budget and the event witnessed many top notch player, industry veterans, government  officials from the finance ministry. 

Secretaries in the finance ministry hinted that implementing the goods and services tax reform may not be a good idea. Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha said that the government and the RBI had worked out the capital requirements of state-run banks to meet the Basel-III norms by 2019.
