Prior to joining Alibaba, Vivek has been associated with Market Leaders like Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, CA Technologies with various Leadership roles spanning across Business Units including Sales, Technology Consulting & Presales. Throughout the career, Vivek has been instrumental in helping Large organizations adopt Cutting Edge technologies like BigData, Automation, Cloud Solutions etc allowing them to make significant Business impact by the use of Technology.

Vivek is the Managing Director and Group CEO of Sona Comstar, one of the world’s leading mobility technology companies, designing, manufacturing, and supplying highly engineered, mission-critical, complex and bespoke systems and components for global OEMs for both electrified and non-electrified powertrain segments.
Since joining in 2015, Vivek has led sales, operations, strategy and M&A across Sona’s operations in India, China, Mexico and the US. Vivek plays a crucial role in capital allocation, strategic decisions for organic and inorganic growth, business development, managing financial stakeholders and performance monitoring of individual business units.
Vivek spearheaded the company to foray into the electric vehicle segment and constructed a technology roadmap for futuristic innovation for electric, personalised, intelligent, and connected – EPIC mobility. His EV-focused approach led the company to be one of the leading global EV suppliers, with 33% of its revenues being derived from the EV market. He also led Sona Comstar to a successful ~USD 750 million IPO, which was one of the largest IPOs in the Indian automotive industry.
Vivek also contributes to industry. He is the chairperson of ACMA’s (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association’s) Electric Mobility and Telematics Pillar and a member of ACMA's Executive Committee and CII’s (Confederation of Indian Industry’s) Haryana State Council.
Prior to his current role at Sona, Vivek served as the Group COO & President - Finance for the Sona Group. Before Joining Sona, Vivek spent a decade in advisory firms KPMG and Grant Thornton. Vivek studied at The Doon School, following which he completed his Bachelors in Technology degree from Harcourt Butler Technical University in Kanpur, India. Post his graduation, he went on to complete his management studies at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
He was awarded “Entrepreneurial CEO of the Year” by EY India in 2022. He was also adjudged by the Economic Times as one of India’s “40 under Forty hottest business leaders” in the awards’ 2018 edition.

She is responsible for delivering on the vision Partner First to pro-vide easy to use cloud services that are intelligence driven.
With more than a decade of experience in the IT Sector, including handling various roles like ISV Ecosystem Alliance Manager at HPE, Technical Solution Architect at HPE. Vrinda is passionate about creating an inclusive digital ecosystem. She strongly believes that to continue being a global technology leader, India would have to prioritize and future-proof its talent development by orienting, skilling and upskilling for unlocking the vast potential that can lead towards becoming a knowledge society.
