At Dentsu Global Services, he led their captive unit, driving operational and strategic efficiencies. His career spans major accomplishments, such as scaling TBO’s international business to achieve 4X growth, securing strategic investments, and contributing to its IPO as a unicorn. Currently, at upGrad Enterprise, he is leading end-to-end delivery functions with a strong focus on designing innovative and effective 'skilling' capabilities for clients, empowering enterprises to address talent gaps and embrace the demands of tomorrow’s workforce.

Neeraj has extensively advised private sector clients on bidding and developing power, oil and gas, transport and social infrastructure projects. He is a market leader in energy transition and renewable energy sectors. He also provides strategic advice in special situations and high-value regulatory and commercial disputes. His expertise is often sought by the Government of India and state governments in the energy sector, including on framing bidding guidelines and on various PPP projects.

Neil Borate heads the personal finance team at Mint. He is a graduate in law and economics, with a postgraduate diploma in investments from the University of Birmingham, UK. He has also passed the CFA Level 1 exam. Neil started writing about personal finance in 2016 at Value Research, a mutual fund research portal. After a stint at a fintech, Neil joined Mint in 2019 as a mutual fund reporter. He was made Deputy Editor in 2022 and Editor (Personal Finance) in 2024. He has also co-authored the book  - The Big Bull of Dalal Street on Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, one of India's most successful investors.
