Ramesh Lakshminarayanan

Mr. Ramesh Lakshminarayanan is Group Head - Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at HDFC Bank. Mr. Lakshminarayanan is responsible for taking the Bank’s technological transformation journey to the next level. He leads the entire IT and Digital function of the Bank to unify all the technology and digital developments and create a more holistic core and customer experience layer.

His role cuts across verticals at the Bank. He is responsible for technology strategy, strengthening foundational technology, enhancing the digital capabilities and harnessing new age AI/ML technology solutions for the bank.

Mr. Lakshminarayanan joined the Bank from CRISIL, where he spent 3 years as Chief Technology and Information Officer. In this role, he was responsible for the transformation of CRISIL’s businesses by leveraging technology, data and analytics. Prior to this, he co-founded a big data and analytics start-up - Pragmatix Services Pvt Ltd which was acquired by CRISIL in 2017.

An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Lakshminarayanan has held leadership positions with organizations such as Citibank, ABN AMRO Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Group.

Mr. Lakshminarayanan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Mumbai University and an MBA from University of Pune. In his free time, Mr. Lakshminarayanan likes to watch cricket and listen to music.

Rajkamal Vempati

Rajkamal Vempati is the President & Head of Human Resources at Axis Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks. Rajkamal is a member of the Management Committee and a passionate advocate of sustaining a human workplace & creating an inclusive culture geared for the future.

Rajkamal is a member of the Board of NHRD. She is also a member of FICCI HR Committee and member of the CII National Committee for HR and Leadership. She has been honored with Honoris Causa, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). by Manav Rachna International Institute Of Research and Studies. Prior to Axis Bank, she was heading Human Resources for ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company. Earlier in her career after passing out of XLRI, Rajkamal was a consultant with Hewitt Associates, part of the HR Leadership Program at GE Capital and has worked with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance across diverse roles.

Personally, having experienced the drop out from career due to long distance marriage and re-entering the workforce subsequently with a young daughter, she is super passionate about mentoring and coaching female executives so that they remain in motion in careers of their choice. Her favourite pastime is planning for holidays and itineraries with ChatGPT.

Gobind Jain

Mr. Gobind Jain, a veteran in the finance domain, is currently the Chief Financial Officer of IndusInd Bank. Mr. Jain’s previous stint was with Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMB) where he served as the Joint President, Group accounts and MIS. He served KMB for over 15 years. Mr. Jain is an accomplished senior accounting and financial management professional and has been associated with various renowned financial institutions like the ICICI Bank, Bank of America, the Reserve Bank of India and Bank Internasional Indonesia. Mr. Jain is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA-1992), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA-1998), Financial Risk Management (FRM- 2014) and CPA Australia (CPA-2021)

Arvind Iyer is a seasoned marketing professional with over 16 years of experience in consumer brands, strategic marketing, and business for different segments across Retail Finance, Education Tech, Automotive, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods and Media.

At Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Ltd., he is responsible for the overall Marketing function and drives the brand for retail and corporate marketing strategy. Arvind plays a pivotal role in further strengthening the financial services business of the Group and is instrumental in leading marketing efforts in the transformational growth phase of the company.

Before Piramal, he worked with various brands and businesses ranging from multibilliondollar enterprises to fully bootstrapped start-ups. Arvind has also been with Viacom18, Royal Enfield, and Unilever, among others. During his career, he has globally launched Cuemath & Royal Enfield Garage Café, brought Tresemmé Hair Care & Dove Deodorants to India and nurtured brands like Taj Mahal Tea and Cornetto Ice Creams in South Asia.

He has bagged several accolades through his stints, like The Yahoo Purple Chair and EMVIES for his work in Hair Care with Unilever and Times Food & Nightlife awards for his work with Royal Enfield.

Arvind holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Communication Management from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune.
