Kavi Arya is Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay). He did his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computing Science from Imperial College of Science & Technology (UK) in 1983 and M.Sc. (Hons.)/D.Phil. in Computation from the Programming Research Group, University of Oxford in 1984. In 1988 he worked at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Labs (Yorktown Heights, New York) with the Animation Workstations Group before returning to India. In India, he worked as a Research Scientist with Tata Research Design and Development Centre (Pune) from 1992-94 and in various positions in industry before coming to IIT Bombay in 2000.
Vice President (Industry Initiatives), NASSCOM
In a career spanning 36 years, KS Viswanathan (KSV) has led several transformational initiatives for organizations such as Wipro, Dell, Azim Premji Foundation and NASSCOM. As a Vice President at NASSCOM (a not-for-profit industry association for IT and BPM), KSV is currently influencing the industry to sustain India’s pole position in newer technology areas in the digital disruption paradigm. The role includes identifying the growth drivers in the business segments of Business Process Management (BPM), Analytics, Engineering and Design (E&D), Global In-house Centers (GIC) and build capacity to reach the potential for the segment, creation of Ecosystem and influencing stake holders in Government, Academia, Innovators, Industry members, technology players, etc. KSV is also overseeing the Startup Initiatives and new age companies at NASSCOM. He is also in the select committees of Government to build capacities in the emerging areas of Cyber Physical Systems, IoT, AI, etc. KSV is also the chair person for National Skills Registry initiative of NASSCOM that was created in 2008 to streamline the hiring process industry by reducing the employment risk. Prior to NASSCOM, he was the Chief Executive for India geography at Wipro Infotech (2003-2008) and as the first country manager for Dell in India in 2000, he was instrumental in establishing Dell’s direct business model in the country.

Sunil Mathur is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Ltd. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Punjab University and is a Chartered Accountant (member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). With Siemens for over 26 years, he has held several senior management positions in Germany and the UK in the Energy and Industry sectors. Starting his career in the Internal Audit team in Delhi in 1987, he moved on to join the Business Administration Group in the Energy Sector. He was Cluster CFO for South Asia in July 2008 and was Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Ltd. from December 2008 till December 2013.

Vice President, Data Center Group
Nivruti Rai is vice president in the Data Center Group (DCG) and general manager of Intel India at Intel Corporation. Based in Bangalore, she provides overall engineering and business unit leadership and leads operations for the site, driving innovation, cross-group efficiencies and execution for engineering teams delivering global products and roadmaps. She also leads engagements with national and local governments and policymakers, as well as collaboration with ecosystem players to enable innovation and entrepreneurship. Rai is also responsible for DCG India site engineering and execution, with a focus on delivering platforms aligned with the Bangalore team’s charter. In addition, she supports DCG and the Intel Sales and Marketing Group in strengthening customer, ecosystem, academic and research lab relationships in India. Rai joined Intel in 1995 and subsequently worked in the CPU development organization in Oregon. She led the effort to conserve chip power in microprocessors by selectively using high- performance devices and pioneered the use of error-correcting codes to reduce operating voltages and memories, becoming a principal engineer in 2003. Rai moved to India in 2005 to manage R&D of mobile platform technologies used for handheld and laptop computers. In 2013, her team was awarded an Intel Achievement Award for contributing to the development of the Minute Intel® architecture core. In her most recent role as vice president in Intel’s Platform Engineering Group, Rai led teams across the United States, Costa Rica, Israel, Malaysia and India charged with developing innovative analog and mixed-signal intellectual property (IP) blocks and IP subsystems for Intel’s system-on-chip products. She also managed the emerging technologies group in India developing machine learning and computer vision soft IP.

Dr. Aloknath De is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Samsung R&D Institute India Bangalore (SRI B). A veteran in the field, he has over thirty years of industrial and research experience that includes BEL, Nortel (Montreal), Hughes and ST-Ericsson where he served as the R&D Director and Country Manager. Dr. De is a B. Tech from IIT, Kharagpur; M.E. from IISc, Bangalore and Ph.D from McGill University, Montreal. A Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of IE, IETE and Indian National Academy of Engg (INAE), he had also served as a visiting/adjunct professor with IIT-Roorkee and IIT-Delhi from 2005-2011.
