Raghu Raghuram has been worrking as the Chief Operating Officer, Products and Cloud Services at Vmware. Joined VMware in 2003, he co-leads the company's Software-Defined Data Center Division.

With more than 20 years of technology experience, Raghuram is responsible for the division's strategy, business and product planning and engineering execution. He is also key to driving the overall strategic direction for VMware.

Prior to VMware, Raghuram held product management and marketing roles at AOL, Bang Networks and Netscape.

Barak Turovsky is responsible for product management and user experience for Google Translate. Fiona Tan joined Walmart in 2014 and is currently the Senior Vice President leading the Customer Technology organization with responsibility for innovation and engineering execution on all customer facing technology across Walmart’s physical and digital footprint. Her team leverages data and machine learning to deliver a seamless Omni-channel shopping experience for Walmart’s customers. Fiona is an exemplary leader with over 23 years of international experience. Prior to Walmart, Fiona played strategic leadership roles at Ariba and TIBCO Software. She has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, Oliver Schabenberger is responsible for setting the technology direction for SAS and executing the company’s strategic objectives and business priorities. He oversees multiple divisions within SAS, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology and Customer Support. Before joining SAS in 2002, Schabenberger served as Assistant Professor of Statistics at Michigan State University (1996 to 1999) and Virginia Tech (1999 to 2002). Edwin is the Chief Architect for PayPal. He leads the Strategic Architecture Team, tasked with defining the company’s long-term technical roadmap and enabling the technologies that will allow the company to change the future of money. Prior to PayPal he has worked at AOL, Netscape, Go Corporation, and Intuit and has been building software for almost 20 years. Holding a joint degree in Computer Science and Sociology from Harvard College, Edwin believes strongly in the ability of technology to bring people closer together and to make our lives easier. Graeme Beardsell is Managing Director for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) at Akamai. Richard is heading one of the key digital transformations in ABB Group, called Collaborative Operations. Vijay is currently the Chief Architect and Fellow in Artificial Intelligence, Philips, and leads the Data Science and AI platform which provides a framework to build predictive analytics and decision support algorithms, leveraging traditional and contemporary machine learning algorithms. He has been in the IT industry for over 22 years working primarily in medical and healthcare domains. His focus has been on Machine learning and Deep Learning in the medical domain, especially on medical images and text. Vijay has been spending the last few years in designing approaches for managing huge amounts of data on the cloud and mechanisms to build predictive models for a number of internal business units at Philips. He has to his credit a number of technical papers and has been a speaker in several IEEE conferences. Dr Anish Shah currently serves as Mahindra Group's President for Strategy. Kavi Arya is Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay). He did his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computing Science from Imperial College of Science & Technology (UK) in 1983 and M.Sc. (Hons.)/D.Phil. in Computation from the Programming Research Group, University of Oxford in 1984. In 1988 he worked at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Labs (Yorktown Heights, New York) with the Animation Workstations Group before returning to India. In India, he worked as a Research Scientist with Tata Research Design and Development Centre (Pune) from 1992-94 and in various positions in industry before coming to IIT Bombay in 2000.

GNV Subba Rao in his current capacity heads ABB’s R&D outfit in India. This is ABB’s largest R&D presence across the globe. In addition, GNV also heads the global business services centre inaugurated recently in the country. He heads a research and engineering workforce of more than 2400 people and the largest group of control engineers as well as the largest HVDC engineering centre for ABB outside Sweden. With over 25 years' experience in the IT industry, Alok Ohrie is working as the President and MD (India Commercial), Dell EMC wherein he is responsible for driving growth for Dell EMC's market, developing and delivering end-to-end solutions for global and Indian corporations, state and Governments and the consumer business. He also had a prior stint at IBM which spanned over 13 years in various leadership roles and at Wipro Infotech for four years. An electronics and communications engineer with a post-graduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Dipesh Shah joined Samsung in 1994 and has made a significant contribution to the growth of Samsung’s mobile business. He was deeply involved in the development of Samsung’s 3G and 4G products. Dipesh has vast experience in embedded system software and his team has contributed to solutions like LTE Protocol Stack, VoLTE solution, browser solution and several multimedia solutions over the years. Prakash Mallya is the Managing Director for Intel India’s Sales & Marketing Group, and responsible for developing new growth areas in the region. He was most recently the Director for Intel Asia’s Data Center Group, and managed the region’s data center strategy for cloud service providers, communications service providers, enterprise and government infrastructure, spanning server, storage, and network solutions. He spearheaded the launch of three distinct products at LinkedIn for India in September 2016 – Lite, Placements.com and Starter Pack. Sibesh Kar, at the age of 21, is the founder and team leader of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus student-driven team, Hyperloop India, spread across all three Indian BITS campuses as well as Indian School of Business and IIM-A, focusing on both the engineering and business aspects of leapfrogging India's ailing transport infrastructure. His team built India's first vehicle with magnetic levitation which was raced in the SpaceX Hyperloop tube, and India's first Hyperloop transport case study. After his first year in college, Sibesh was selected on a global basis to do physics research under Dr. Stephen Wolfram, and after his second year to expand on his work on the physics of cellular automata at CSAIL, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr Dhole holds a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Amravati University, Maharashtra, and an M.Tech. and Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur. He did his post-doctoral research fellowship at non-Newtonian Rheology group at UCL, Belgium.

Hemanth Satyanarayana is the Founder and CEO of Imaginate, which is rated by Gartner and IDC as a Top Innovator in APAC for 2016 & 2017, because of its innovative work in virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR). Hemanth has over 13 years of experience working in extended reality platforms in USA and India. He won the prestigious MIT TR35 India Innovator award and was a TEDx speaker twice in 2017. At Imaginate, Hemanth spearheads the strategy and provides vision to NuSpace, Imaginate's Enterprise telepresence solution in VR/AR. Imaginate's second product Dressy, a plug and play virtual fitting room, won the NEXT B2B award at World Economic Forum (Global Shapers Frankfurt). An early researcher (2005) in AR who pioneered the development of Image guided Liver Surgery apparatus using a Google Glass-like device for a renowned Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, USA, Hemanth has worked for IBM Labs, in addition to VR startups in New York in multiple capacities. He holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Madras, a Master’s in Research (Augmented Reality) from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a PG Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.

Jiten Saini is the Chief Technology Officer at Shapecrunch, a company that has reinvented the process of making custom foot orthotics with 3D printing and smartphones for foot problems such as Flat Feet, Plantar Fasciitis and Diabetic Foot. Doctors can use its app to click a patient's foot pictures and record physical data, and its proprietary Computer Vision and Deep learning algorithm converts images and data into a 3D model of orthotic which is then 3D printed and shipped to the clinic. Jiten is an alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, and has worked with a few start-ups prior to his current stint at Shapecrunch.

Antoinette is responsible for building and expanding MIT Technology Review’s global footprint, through long-term strategic partnerships who help bring TR’s journalism to audiences all across the world, in different languages and on different platforms. As the head of the licensing and communities, Antoinette acts as ambassador for MIT and MIT Technology Review’s thought leadership, championing initiatives that further grow TR’s Innovators under 35 community. Prior to coming to the U.S.A. in 2001, Antoinette was the Relationship Marketing Manager for JD Group Pty Ltd in South Africa, at that time the largest group of national retail chains in the Southern hemisphere, and the Marketing Manager for the first IT chain South Africa. Ms. Matthews has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Financial Management from the University of Pretoria. She is a current Executive MBA student at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

One of the winners of Emtech India Innovators Under 35, Arijit Biswas is currently working as Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon. Prior to Amazon, Biswas was working as Research scientist at Xerox Research Centre India wherein his work has led to 14 patents and four research publications in international peer-reviewed conferences. Biswas studied electronics and telecommunication engineering at Jadavpur University and went on to do a PhD in computer vision and machine learning from the University of Maryland

David Rotman is the editor of MIT Technology Review. A science and business journalist, he has written extensively on biotechnology, materials science, climate change, and policy issues. Joining MIT Technology Review in January 1998 as a senior editor covering nanotechnology, he became editor in 2005. Most recently, he has written a series of articles on how advances in artificial intelligence and other digital technologies are affecting jobs and the economy. He has a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

R. Sukumar is the Editor-in-chief of Hindustan Times. Sukumar, who has post graduate degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration and has a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, has been Editor of Mint, of which he was a co-founder, since late 2008. In his time as editor, Mint has become the most respected and awarded newsroom in the country, winning seven Society of Publishers of Asia awards, and 10 Ramnath Goenka awards. He joined HT Media in 2006 as part of the founding team of Mint. He has previously worked at the India Today Group and The Hindu Business Line.

Monika Halan’s goal is a fair marketplace for all participants in India’s retail financial sector. She is Consulting Editor with Mint, India's second largest business daily. A Certified Financial Planner, she has a Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and a second Masters in Journalism Studies from College of Cardiff, University of Wales, UK. She has worked earlier across media organisations in India including Editing Outlook Money. She has run four successful TV series around personal finance advice in NDTV, Zee and Bloomberg India and is a regular speaker on financial literacy, regulation, inclusion and consumer issues in retail finance. She plugs back the learning from her public facing work into policy. She has public policy experience working with the Government of India as an advisor to the Swarup Committee in 2009. She has served as a member on the Ministry of Finance Committee on Incentives (Bose Committee), 2015 and is a member on the Sebi (India’s capital market regulator) Mutual Fund Committee. She was a member of the Task Force set up by the Government of India to put in place the Financial Redressal Agency. She was an expert invitee to a Ministry of Commerce Committee on the Service Price Index. She is a director on the board of FPSB and FPSF India. She is the author of a published academic paper (http://bit.ly/2towQ53) in Journal of Economic Policy Reform that estimates the loss to investors on mis-sold insurance policies. She has a forthcoming paper (http://bit.ly/2uBtw5Y) in the Journal for Comparative Economics that maps mis-selling by banks. She is an author of a book: Seven Steps to Financial Freedom published by Macmillan in 2005 and is working on a second book to be published by Harper Collins. She is based in New Delhi and was chosen as a Yale World Fellow in 2011.

Leslie D'Monte is a journalist with over two decades of experience, specializing in technology and science writing. He has worked with leading media groups like HT Media Limited, Business Standard, The Times of India, The Indian Express, Jasubhai Media Group and ZDNet India (now part of the CBS Media Group) both as a reporter and editor. He is currently the National Technology Editor of Mint, the business publication of HT Media Limited, and also part of Mint’s leadership team.
