    Raghu Raghuram has been worrking as the Chief Operating Officer, Products and Cloud Services at Vmware. Joined VMware in 2003, he co-leads the company's Software-Defined Data Center Division.

    With more than 20 years of technology experience, Raghuram is responsible for the division's strategy, business and product planning and engineering execution. He is also key to driving the overall strategic direction for VMware.

    Prior to VMware, Raghuram held product management and marketing roles at AOL, Bang Networks and Netscape.

Previously, Barak spent 2 years as a product leader within Google Wallet team. Prior to joining Google in 2011, Barak was Director of Product in Microsoft’s Mobile Advertising, Head of Mobile Commerce at PayPal and Chief Technical Officer in an Israeli start up. He lived more than 10 years in 3 different countries (Russia, Israel and the US) and fluently speaks three languages.

    Fiona Tan joined Walmart in 2014 and is currently the Senior Vice President leading the Customer Technology organization with responsibility for innovation and engineering execution on all customer facing technology across Walmart’s physical and digital footprint. Her team leverages data and machine learning to deliver a seamless Omni-channel shopping experience for Walmart’s customers. Fiona is an exemplary leader with over 23 years of international experience. Prior to Walmart, Fiona played strategic leadership roles at Ariba and TIBCO Software. She has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

    Oliver Schabenberger

    Executive VP, COO and CTO, SAS


    As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, Oliver Schabenberger is responsible for setting the technology direction for SAS and executing the company’s strategic objectives and business priorities. He oversees multiple divisions within SAS, including R&D, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology and Customer Support. Before joining SAS in 2002, Schabenberger served as Assistant Professor of Statistics at Michigan State University (1996 to 1999) and Virginia Tech (1999 to 2002). He was awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of Statistics at Virginia Tech in 2001. Prior to that, he received his PhD from Virginia Tech in 1995. In addition to co-writing three statistical textbooks, Schabenberger has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. He holds several patents on software design and algorithms.

    Edwin is the Chief Architect for PayPal. He leads the Strategic Architecture Team, tasked with defining the company’s long-term technical roadmap and enabling the technologies that will allow the company to change the future of money. Prior to PayPal he has worked at AOL, Netscape, Go Corporation, and Intuit and has been building software for almost 20 years. Holding a joint degree in Computer Science and Sociology from Harvard College, Edwin believes strongly in the ability of technology to bring people closer together and to make our lives easier. A California native, Edwin is involved with wildlife conservation and likes to spend time with big cats.

    Graeme Beardsell is Managing Director for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) at Akamai. In this role, he is responsible for leading the business across the APJ region, as well as driving sales for Akamai’s Web and Security products. Graeme joined Akamai in 2014 and prior to this he was Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Solace Systems for two years and Vice President, Asia Pacific at Experian from 2009 to 2012. Graeme has over 25 years of experience in senior management, sales, consulting and product management across start-ups and well-established companies, as well as over ten years of experience working in the Asia Pacific region. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management and Economics degree from the Melbourne University of Technology and has also completed Executive Management Courses at both North Western University and Harvard Business School.

Previously Phil was the Managing Director of GeoSmart for 23 years until the company was acquired by TomTom in 2014 delivering mapping, traffic, traveller information and geospatial web solutions across New Zealand and Australia. Phil comes from a mapping and computer science background.

    Arvind Gupta is the CEO of MyGov, an initiative of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to empower the citizens of India with participative governance and to digitally communicate the schemes and policies to all Indians. He has over 25 years of industry experience, having worked in diverse sectors in a variety of leadership, policy and entrepreneurial profiles in India and the Silicon Valley, USA. He has been awarded the Eisenhower Global Fellowship for Innovation for year 2014. Arvind Gupta led the Digital, Social Media and Communication Campaign for Mr. Narendra Modi, which resulted in the newly elected PM creating electoral history and achieving BJP’s Mission 272+. He was the Co-Founder of Digital India Foundation, a policy think tank working in areas of Digital Inclusion, Internet Governance, Cyber Security, Electronics Manufacturing and Indian Software Products. An active member of TiE, NASSCOM and a Founder Member of iSPIRT (Indian Software Product Industry Roundtable), he also co-founded startups such as Botworx.ai and apnaPay, among others. A graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, he holds a Master’s in Computer Science and MBA (Finance & Marketing) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

    Richard is heading one of the key digital transformations in ABB Group, called Collaborative Operations. His work includes building a dozen digital service delivery centers, staffing them with IT and OT experts for serving customers worldwide, and for supporting ABB’s own organization. Further, his team is making digital partnerships with ABB’s customers on plant and enterprise level, which include the deployment of new software, IT integration, data collection, cloud, analytics, and change management – in order to make industrial operations more profitable and productive. Prior to this role, Richard led the digital transformation of ABB Marine and its operating model, which is now one of the digital leaders in its field. He has 15 years of experience in Digitalization, business and change management, restructuring and post-merger integration.

    Currently the President of NASSCOM, R Chandrashekhar was the Chairman, Telecom Commission and Secretary, Department of Telecommunication (DoT) till March 2013. Previously, he has also served as the Secretary in the Department of Information Technology. In his long and illustrious career, he has held a variety of key assignments, many relating to the ICT sector, both in the Government of India and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. He has extensive experience of formulating and implementing policies, strategies and action plans to foster the growth of the IT industry. As Secretary, DoT, he was responsible for all aspects of policy formulation for the telecom sector and driving several key policies and strategies covering licensing, spectrum management, National Broadband Plan, Convergence, Manufacturing, Investment, security, R&D and the National Telecom Policy 2012. As Secretary of the Department of Information Technology, he steered the formulation of national policies for the IT sector, promoting Electronic System Design and Manufacturing and R&D in the Electronics and IT sector and designing the National e-Governance Plan.

    Chief Architect and Fellow, Data Science and AI, Philips


    Vijay is currently the Chief Architect and Fellow in Artificial Intelligence, Philips, and leads the Data Science and AI platform which provides a framework to build predictive analytics and decision support algorithms, leveraging traditional and contemporary machine learning algorithms. He has been in the IT industry for over 22 years working primarily in medical and healthcare domains. His focus has been on Machine learning and Deep Learning in the medical domain, especially on medical images and text. Vijay has been spending the last few years in designing approaches for managing huge amounts of data on the cloud and mechanisms to build predictive models for a number of internal business units at Philips. He has to his credit a number of technical papers and has been a speaker in several IEEE conferences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication and a Master of Science (Mathematics and Computer Science) from Georgia Tech.

    Currently a part of the Governing Council and a Co-Founder for iSPIRT (Indian Software Product Industry Round Table), Sharad actively mentors startups, and speaks frequently on industry issues. His personal mantra is to lead big and small companies through orbit change. Earlier, he was the CEO of Yahoo! India R&D and was responsible for emerging markets engineering and several key global products. His decades of experience in internet, software and wireless sectors involves a turnaround (of VERITAS India ops), a startup (now part of Cisco), and an intrapreneurial setup of AT&T/Lucent’s R&D in India. An evangelist for developing technology product businesses in India, Sharad participates in efforts to nurture the supporting ecosystem.

    Anish Shah

    Dr Anish Shah currently serves as Mahindra Group's President for Strategy. His primary focus areas are strategy development and implementation; building capabilities such as digitisation, IoT and analytics; enabling synergies across Group companies; and driving international growth. He also leads the Risk Management and Performance Review across organisations. The Group Strategy Office plays a key role in developing talent for leadership roles across the Group. With over 23yrs of work ex, he has also served as President and CEO of GE Capital India, where he led the transformation of the business, including a turnaround of its SBI Card joint venture. Anish also received GE's prestigious Lewis Latimer Award for outstanding utilisation of Six Sigma in developing a "Digital Cockpit."

    Kavi Arya is Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay). He did his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computing Science from Imperial College of Science & Technology (UK) in 1983 and M.Sc. (Hons.)/D.Phil. in Computation from the Programming Research Group, University of Oxford in 1984. In 1988 he worked at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Labs (Yorktown Heights, New York) with the Animation Workstations Group before returning to India. In India, he worked as a Research Scientist with Tata Research Design and Development Centre (Pune) from 1992-94 and in various positions in industry before coming to IIT Bombay in 2000.

    GNV Subba Rao

    Managing Director, ABB R&D in India Region


    GNV Subba Rao in his current capacity heads ABB’s R&D outfit in India. This is ABB’s largest R&D presence across the globe. In addition, GNV also heads the global business services centre inaugurated recently in the country. He heads a research and engineering workforce of more than 2400 people and the largest group of control engineers as well as the largest HVDC engineering centre for ABB outside Sweden. In a career spanning almost two decades with ABB, GNV has taken on multiple roles including heading the engineering centre for the Process Automation division as well the division in India. Under his leadership, ABB’s drives business in India grew ten times in so many years and tripled market share. He has also led the centre to the achievement of several milestones like IoT-driven service through remote monitoring of 5,000 robots and almost 100 cement plants across more than 30 countries around the world. An electrical and electronics graduate from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) Bengaluru, GNV has been a key participant at various international and domestic research events and associations.

He also had a prior stint at IBM which spanned over 13 years in various leadership roles and at Wipro Infotech for four years. Prior to joining IBM, he was President of EMC India and SAARC region and also worked for AMD as Vice President of Business Development and Managing Director of India.

    An electronics and communications engineer with a post-graduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Dipesh Shah joined Samsung in 1994 and has made a significant contribution to the growth of Samsung’s mobile business. He was deeply involved in the development of Samsung’s 3G and 4G products. Dipesh has vast experience in embedded system software and his team has contributed to solutions like LTE Protocol Stack, VoLTE solution, browser solution and several multimedia solutions over the years. Currently, he also heads a cross-functional task force known as the India Localization Task Force that has developed unique innovations for Indian consumers.

    Prakash Mallya

    Prakash Mallya is the Managing Director for Intel India’s Sales & Marketing Group, and responsible for developing new growth areas in the region. He was most recently the Director for Intel Asia’s Data Center Group, and managed the region’s data center strategy for cloud service providers, communications service providers, enterprise and government infrastructure, spanning server, storage, and network solutions. Prior to that, Prakash was the Managing Director of Southeast Asia at Intel where he led all of Intel’s sales, marketing and the enablement of Intel products across Southeast Asia, one of the world’s most dynamic markets for computing technology. Besides achieving strong business results, under his stewardship, Southeast Asia team won the Global ECOC Award for exemplary leadership in Ethics and Compliance. A 17-year veteran of the company, Prakash joined Intel in 2000 as Business Development Manager, responsible for the Financial Services segment in India. Over the years, he has held several regional roles including leading Intel’s Asia Pacific strategy to win in the Manufacturing and Oil & Gas verticals, as well as managing strategic global customer and partner relationships. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, SEA, Prakash was Country Manager of Malaysia and Singapore where he led the sales and marketing operations in both countries. In this role, he was responsible for the growth of Intel's business through channel distribution, local original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and multinationals (MNCs). He also focused on driving strategic partnerships with the Government and ecosystem players to accelerate technology adoption in both countries as well as drive market expansion strategies to grow the local consumption.

    Manish is a keen technology, people and business leader. He brings in over 24 years of experience in building hardware and software IP-oriented product companies, early-stage investing, valuations, deal structuring and strategy advisory across sectors. He is the Founding Partner of pi Ventures, a venture fund focused on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and IoT based out of India. He has been active in the startup ecosystem in India for several years. He co-founded LetsVenture.com and led it to become the leading marketplace for startups & early stage investors in India. After doing his engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1992, he has been instrumental in building several products and teams in different startups and established organisations like Sling Media, Ibam Systems and Motorola. She has over 25 years of experience in IT research and has led many innovative projects in Healthcare and Transportation, especially catering to Emerging Markets. Until the end of 2016, she was a Lab Director heading Data Analytics Research in Xerox India. Prior to that, she was a Principal Research Scientist at Hewlett Packard Laboratories for 17 years. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science and an Executive MBA in Innovation Leadership from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, Chicago. She was awarded the Computer Society of India Gold Medal in 1991 and TR Shamanna State Award from Karnataka in 1989, besides being named as one of the top 50 NASSCOM IT Innovators in 2009. She was also the winner of 2010 MIT Tech Review Grand Challenges for Technologists in the Healthcare category.

Nappinai, with over 26 years of professional experience, appears before the Supreme Court of India and the Bombay High Court extensively in Constitutional, Criminal, Commercial, Cyber and IPR cases. He joined Qualcomm in 2013 as vice president of product management for Qualcomm Reference Design (QRD), a product of the semiconductor business, QCT. Prior to Qualcomm, he was the executive vice president and chief marketing officer at BrightPoint and, before that, held numerous positions at Nokia during his 20-year-plus stint with the company.

Akshay completed his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Purdue University, where he currently serves as a member of the advisory board.

    Sibesh Kar

    Founder and Team Leader, Hyperloop India


    Sibesh Kar, at the age of 21, is the founder and team leader of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus student-driven team, Hyperloop India, spread across all three Indian BITS campuses as well as Indian School of Business and IIM-A, focusing on both the engineering and business aspects of leapfrogging India's ailing transport infrastructure. His team built India's first vehicle with magnetic levitation which was raced in the SpaceX Hyperloop tube, and India's first Hyperloop transport case study. After his first year in college, Sibesh was selected on a global basis to do physics research under Dr. Stephen Wolfram, and after his second year to expand on his work on the physics of cellular automata at CSAIL, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Sibesh believes that his stints with physics have given him the first-principles thinking framework required to quickly adapt to the challenges of working on the Hyperloop, a fifth mode of transport first proposed by SpaceX/Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Following his pursuits with public transit, Sibesh recently founded and is building Project Uni, a unified boarding pass that works across all modes of urban transit from doorstep-to-doorstep, and will hopefully integrate intra-city transit modes like the Hyperloop in the future.

At Imaginate, Hemanth spearheads the strategy and provides vision to NuSpace, Imaginate's Enterprise telepresence solution in VR/AR. Imaginate's second product Dressy, a plug and play virtual fitting room, won the NEXT B2B award at World Economic Forum (Global Shapers Frankfurt). An early researcher (2005) in AR who pioneered the development of Image guided Liver Surgery apparatus using a Google Glass-like device for a renowned Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, USA, Hemanth has worked for IBM Labs, in addition to VR startups in New York in multiple capacities. He holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Madras, a Master’s in Research (Augmented Reality) from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a PG Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.

    Jiten Saini is the Chief Technology Officer at Shapecrunch, a company that has reinvented the process of making custom foot orthotics with 3D printing and smartphones for foot problems such as Flat Feet, Plantar Fasciitis and Diabetic Foot. Doctors can use its app to click a patient's foot pictures and record physical data, and its proprietary Computer Vision and Deep learning algorithm converts images and data into a 3D model of orthotic which is then 3D printed and shipped to the clinic. Jiten is an alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, and has worked with a few start-ups prior to his current stint at Shapecrunch.
