Dharmakirti Joshi , Chief Economist, CRISIL

Dharmakirti Joshi is currently the Chief Economist at CRISIL-An S&P Global Company. With over 34 years of experience in economic research and consultancy, his career began in NCAER where he spent 11 years. 

He then moved on to senior positions in Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, New Delhi and CRISIL- An S&P Global Company. He has extensive experience in macroeconomic analysis, medium term assessment of Indian economy and forecasting as well as in public finance issues at the central and state levels. He was member of the Working Group of Savings for the 12th Five Year Plan. He was member of Working Group on Revision of Wholesale Price Index set up Government of India. 

He is the Chairman of Economic Affairs Group of FICCI and member of Economic Affairs council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He regularly writes for leading newspapers and expresses his views on the economy in the electronic media.

Dileep is the Executive Director of Siemens Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and heads the Siemens Healthineers Development Center (DC), which is engaged in creating cutting-edge technology for precision health solutions. DC has operations in India and Slovakia, and DC India is the largest technology center of Siemens Healthineers outside Germany.

Dileep is a strategic and decisive technology leader who has built global engineering teams across India, the US, Europe, and China and has launched new products worldwide. He is passionate about customers, technology, and innovation with a strong focus on improving customer impact and business outcomes. He has been involved in multiple innovations and has three US patents. His customer-centricity, empowering leadership style, and deep understanding of business processes has helped him transform organizations.

Dileep was the CTO for Wipro-GE Healthcare South Asia, delivering cutting edge technology and product solutions to global and local markets. He also had P&L responsibility for GE Industrial Solutions business in India and was a board member of GE legal entities in India.

He has over 25 years of professional experience in product design and engineering, and business solutions. He has performed roles with increasing responsibilities in electrical, automation, and healthcare organizations across the globe.

Dilipkumar Khandelwal is the CEO, Deutsche India, MD & Global CIO Corporate Functions, Deutsche Bank. As MD and CEO, his role is focused on optimizing multiple, integrated functions that deliver solutions to the global organization. His other roles include managing delivering front-to-back technology solutions in an innovative and forward-thinking manner to drive digital transformation at Deutsche Bank.

Dilip joined Deutsche Bank in 2019 and is a proven leader with over 25 years of experience running large technology organisations. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Dilip was President of the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud business that accelerated the customer journey to the Cloud and turned this into a billion-dollar business. He was also the Managing Director for SAP India, under his leadership SAP was rated as #1 in the ‘Great Place to Work’ institute ranking.

Dilip’s career has been recognised with a series of industry awards, leadership accolades, positions on Leadership Councils such as NASSCOM and advisory board member roles at Venture Capital firms and International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. His strength in driving innovation and his entrepreneurial mind set has allowed him to follow his passion in mentoring start-ups and acting as an Angel Investor to multiple companies.

Dilip is a graduate of Engineering from Mumbai University and holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, and an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
