Presently, Mahesh is the Chief Digital and Technology Officer for Larsen and Toubro (L&T), a $24 Billion multinational engineering, construction, and manufacturing conglomerate. His role at L&T is as follows:
- Member of the Larsen & Toubro Group Digital & Technology Executive Board
- Responsible for L&T's digital and technology transformation strategy, leveraging technology, AI, and analytics to elevate the customer experience, create new growth platforms, and transform end-to-end operations.
- Developing new digital and physical technologies and capabilities to enhance current products and services and enable future innovative business solutions.
Working in close partnerships with the L&T businesses to leverage cutting-edge digital technologies and capabilities to deliver operational improvements for these businesses and accelerate business impact.
Mahesh also comes with excellent local and international P&L and operations management backgrounds and a track record of delivering profitable revenue growth and margin expansion. In his career profile, he has worked out of Germany, the UK, and India, managing global teams for digital and technology transformation programmes.
An entrepreneurial and inspiring leader, he drives impact for global companies without losing sight of the need to "roll up the sleeves" when required. focused on cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), with particular interest in and knowledge of the IoT, I4.0, machine learning, and big data analytics.
