Manish Sharma, Chairman, Panasonic Life Solutions India Ltd.

Manish Sharma is the Chairman of Panasonic Life Solutions India overseeing the growth and development of the company in the region. In his current role, Mr. Sharma is responsible for driving profitable growth along with strategy planning and business development for the entire product portfolio of Panasonic’s consumer, enterprise, and industry divisions. He is responsible for steering operations in India and South Asia, propelling business growth across the B2C, B2B, and B2G segments.

Beginning with engineering and research assignments, his career of more than two decades has spanned from hands-on operations to strategic product and business planning in various electronic majors like LG Hotline, Samsung India and Haier India.

Manish has been appointed to the Steering Committee for Advancing Local Value-Add and Exports (SCALE) formed by Ministry of Commerce and Industry and has been working closely with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under guidance of the Ministry to drive India’s local manufacturing agenda.

Manish is very active in driving the electronics industry agenda and holds multiple leadership positions with the industry body – FICCI:
•    Chair for the FICCI Committee on Electronics & Manufacturing, 
•    Chair for the FICCI Committee on Energy Storage  
•    Co-Chair for the India-Taiwan Business Cooperation Committee
He has also represented CEAMA (Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association) in the past and, was the President from 2014-18.
He enjoys photography and travelling. He is also very active on social media and has been sharing his thoughts with his followers through the property ‘Weekend Musings’ on LinkedIn. In 2021, he has also launched his YouTube platform – Duologues – to engage with industry leaders and inspirational figures through in-depth conversations.
