Manu Jain is a prominent business executive currently serving as the CEO of G42 India, with the objective of spearheading G42’s strategic initiatives in the subcontinent and accelerate India’s digital transformation by deploying advanced AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and economic growth.

Manu was a former Global VP of Xiaomi and CEO of Xiaomi India, and played a leading role in establishing the brand as a largest player in the country. Manu played a pivotal role in starting and establishing Xiaomi as a dominant player in the Indian smartphone industry. Under his leadership, Xiaomi India achieved remarkable milestones, becoming the No. 1 smartphone brand in India and holding this position for over ?ve years and No. 1 smart TV market brand for four years.

He was also the co-founder of Jabong.com, one of India's leading fashion e-commerce companies, that was bought by the Flipkart group (Walmart).

Martin Schwenk, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India

Martin joined Mercedes-Benz India on November 1, 2018 as Managing Director and CEO.

He holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and has pursued additional courses in finance and business management. Martin joined Daimler in 1992 through the Mercedes-Benz Trainee Program and has been with the Group ever since.

He has over 25 years of experience in the German and international operations of Mercedes-Benz. He has held various important positions in finance and controlling in a varied set of markets, including Germany, South Africa, Austria and the United States. In September 2015, Martin joined Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co. Ltd. as Chief Financial Officer.

With professional insights and strategic direction, Martin played a leading role on many critical projects and business processes in the biggest automotive market in the world and proved himself indispensable in powering the sustainable success of the Mercedes-Benz passenger car business in China.

Mayank Bathwal is the Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd. With over 30 years of experience in the Aditya Birla Group, Mayank has held leadership roles across various sectors, including insurance, financial services, manufacturing, energy, and power.

He was the founding team member of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance and in his last role, he was the Deputy CEO of ABSLI and had held multiple roles in the business in India and Indonesia.

In 2015, Mayank took on the challenge of setting up Aditya Birla Health Insurance (ABHI). Under his leadership, ABHI has rapidly emerged as one of India’s most recognized and fastest-growing health insurance companies. He has championed a well-diversified strategy, entering the market with a unique ‘health-first’ business model and developing an efficient multi-channel distribution system by leveraging digital opportunities.

Mayank is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a member of the ICWA and ICSI. He also serves as the co-chair of the FICCI Health Insurance Committee and plays an active role in the insurance industry forum of NATHEALTH.
